CAC talks water study and tree survey


PINE PLAINS— Conservation Advisory Council (CAC) Chairman John Hoffman III was at the Town Board meeting on Thursday, Feb. 16. He appealed to the board to pay for half of a water study of Stissing Lake as well as to conduct a tree survey.

According to Hoffman III, the CAC is going to conduct a Citizens Statewide Lake Assessment Program (CSLAP), which will study water quality. The last CSLAP report was issued in 2011.
