Regional middle school students perform

Rob Nellson, band director at Salisbury Central School, introduced the group of middle-school band and chorus students at the Region One Music Festival at Housatonic Valley Regional High School (HVRHS) on Wednesday evening, Feb.15, praising the students’ work ethic during rehearsals.

“It’s top-notch,” he said.

The Regional Band then charged ahead in a spirited rendition of Mark Williams’ “Plaza de Toros.”

The regional band and chorus each performed four pieces.
