Seeing the profits from the trees

The Housatonic Valley FFA holiday store was another success, thanks to the wonderful support of the community. The store opened its doors in December with an initial shipment of 730 trees, which sold out.

At the Region One Board of Education meeting Monday, Feb. 6, FFA members reported that in addition to the trees, the store sold 263 wreaths made in-house and 354 commercially made wreaths; 656 poinsettias; 580 blocks of cheese; and nine tree stands.
