Good news, at last (perhaps)
There seems to have been some dispute over the groundhog’s day predictions made along the East Coast on Feb. 2.
Punxsutawney Phil in Pennsylania did see his own shadow, indicating that there will still be six hard weeks of winter left this year.
But groundhogs in Staten Island, N.Y., and Nova Scotia, Canada, did not see their shadows, meaning that this so-far relatively mild winter will end before too much more time has passed.
