Hearing on Haubrich house is now Aug. 11

SALISBURY — The public hearing before the Zoning Board of Appeals on the certificate of occupancy for the Haubrich home on Lake Wonoscopomuc was continued again, this time until Tuesday, Aug. 11, 5:30 p.m. at Town Hall.

But there is an end in sight. Attorneys for the Haubrichs and Anne Marie Nonkin said the two sides have reached a tentative agreement, one that will be finalized in the next couple of weeks.

Prior to the resumption of the public hearing, Nonkin’s attorney, William Conti, filed an appeal of the third certificate of occupancy issued to the Haubrichs.

Zoning Board of Appeals attorney Peter Herbst reminded Conti that he will need to withdraw that appeal in time to avoid the expense of publishing legal notices.

Some are framed, some lie loose on the dining table.

Many of them have museum cards, explaining where those samplers came from and why they are important.
