Jumping for a healthy heart at Eugene Brooks

WEBUTUCK — The grounds of the Eugene Brooks Intermediate School (EBIS) gym looked like a battlefield of fun, with the healthy smiles and energy of students and staff on Wednesday, Feb. 17. It was the third annual Jump Rope for Heart event at the school.

Students from fourth through eighth grade  — that is 270 students — jumped in intervals of 30 minutes throughout the day to bring awareness to heart health.
