Gratto resigns, board prices MES

WEBUTUCK — The North East (Webutuck) Central School District Board of Education (BOE) unanimously accepted the resignation of Superintendent James Gratto, effective Jan. 2, 2015, at its regular meeting, Monday, Dec. 8.

The motion was made by BOE member Kristen Panzer and seconded by Christopher Mayville.

Gratto announced the resignation during his report before the vote was held.

“I just wanted to make sure I acknowledged the BOE and the community for their support and the good work you’ve done for the past three and a half years,” he said.
