Farmers Market starts early indoors

NORFOLK — The Norfolk Farmers Market held an indoor market on Saturday, March 29, at Battell Chapel on 12 Litchfield Road.

A variety of farm goods and products were sold at the market, including dairy products, fruits, vegetables and syrups.

Nickolas Burton, 17, traveled from the Chase Home Farm in Pine Plains, N.Y., to sell a variety of homemade cheeses.

“I’ve been here three times and I like that everyone’s friendly and that it’s inside,” Nickolas said. ”Some of the markets are outside in the cold during the winter, which can be a little rough.”
