Peaches are white, yellow, pink, red and mixes of those colors. No fruit captures the aura of summer as well.
Peaches originated in China where, in the 10th century, the Chinese started using the peach pit for medicine. Modern research has confirmed the ancient Chinese belief in the healing powers of this lovely stone fruit.
Peaches are rich in a variety of vitamins and minerals. One important one is potassium, which prolongs life. It’s essential for proper functioning of the heart, kidneys, muscles, nerves and digestive system.
