WINSTED — Two local parents are looking to sell a Winsted-centric version of a classic board game to help fix up a local playground.
Parents Stacy Kish and Melanie Gomez have formed the Revitalization of Rowley Street Playground Committee.
The goal of the committee, which is working in conjunction with the Winsted Recreation Department, is to renovate and repair the playground.
“They playground is falling apart,” Kish said. “It was built over 20 years ago. It’s not as safe as it should be for the kids.”
