WASHINGTON — The town park has been bustling with families happy to find a cool place to relax on long summer days.
“High temperatures have increased my attendances,” said Warren McMillan, recreation director. “I sold more passes for residents and nonresidents than I did the previous year.”
McMillan said the town Recreation Commission’s Morning Summer Camp program at the park has been doing very well. The morning camp is five weeks long for children entering kindergarten through seventh grade.
