Webutuck drops physical therapist in surprise move

Webutuck — Following the North East (Webutuck) Central School District’s annual organizational meeting on Monday, July 9, the board transitioned into a regular meeting. During public comments physical therapist Margaret Runge spoke.

Runge said she was caught by surprise when her contract was not renewed.

“After 20 years I got a note from [elementary school Principal] Katy McEnroe that was two lines,” Runge said. “It said, ‘I am writing to inform you that the Webutuck Central School District is contracting with a new physical therapist ....”
