Film festival turns 7 at Warner Theatre

TORRINGTON — After running for six years at locations in Kent and New Milford, the internationally known Kent Film Festival has been renamed the Litchfield Hills Film Festival and will make its closest appearance to Winsted yet this weekend at the Warner Theatre in Torrington.

Screening approximately 80 films this year, the festival, run by Frank and Patrice Galterio of Kent, will include films from around the world and many from Connecticut in New York, with as many as 45 directors appearing at the festival to discuss their work.
