FALLS VILLAGE — As Housatonic Valley Regional High School’s 2011-12 school year comes to a close, two students have been named student athlete of the week.

A member of the HVRHS baseball team, senior Quentin Kindred of Sharon will be playing baseball for Franklin Pierce University in Rindge, N.H., where he will be attending college in the fall.

Kindred has volunteered as a medical response technician for the Sharon Ambulance Squad since he was 15 years old.
