KENT — Twenty-two students stepped onto the stage at Kent Center School (KCS) and off into their future as high school students. Their eighth-grade promotion ceremony was held June 12. The class of 2012 was made up of eight young men and 14 young women.

Approximately half of the students will enter Housatonic Valley Regional High School for the 2012-13 school year. The rest will be moving on to other high schools.
