CORNWALL — A lawsuit has been brought against Cornwall over a disputed tax assessment of one of the town’s most valuable properties.
The court case rose out of the recently completed revaluation of all Cornwall properties. While the majority of property owners saw their market-based assessments drop — by a total of $64 million, with an average 14.5 percent decrease — that was not the case for everyone.
