Students take the trip of a lifetime as they travel to Africa

MILAN — The US/Africa Partnership for Building Stronger Communities is holding its annual Colors of Africa Brunch and Silent Auction on Sunday, June 10, at Enigma Dance Hall on Route 199.

The partnership is an ongoing program through the University at Albany which works to fund students’ educational journeys to Africa.

Shirley Jones, the program founder and professor emeritus at University at Albany, began the program at the university.
