Land Trust picnic makes learning fun

KENT – Following the town’s Memorial Day parade, the Kent Land Trust continued the celebration with its sixth annual Community Conservation Picnic on May 28.

According to Kent Land Trust President Bill Arnold, the event is a “major town tradition” that combines a rural town picnic with presentations on conservation. Booths covered topics such as the mile-a-minute vine and bees. Of course, an ample supply of food and snacks was offered as well.
