NORTH CANAAN — Do Jeep owners love their Jeeps, or what?

The original SUV had its day May 19 at the fifth annual Go Topless Day, held worldwide and at the Brewer Brothers dealership on Railroad Street.

The tops came off on a beautifully sunny day. Jeeps arrived by the dozens, outfitted for all sorts of recreational uses, including an orange Wrangler towing a jet ski painted to match. Some arrived covered in mud, a badge of honor in the off-roading world.
