Benefit held for Pleasant Valley Children’s Center

Parents of Pleasant Valley Children’s Center students hold up quilts with student’s handprints at the sixth annual wine tasting and silent auction event held on Saturday, May 5. BARKHAMSTED — The Pleasant Valley Children’s Center held its sixth annual wine tasting and silent auction at the Barkhamsted Senior Center on Saturday, May 5.
The Children’s Center is a nonprofit preschool that was opened in 1972 by a group of neighborhood parents.
Head Teacher Molly Read said the school is operated as a parent cooperative preschool.
