Benefit held for Pleasant Valley Children’s Center

BARKHAMSTED — The Pleasant Valley Children’s Center held its sixth annual wine tasting and silent auction at the Barkhamsted Senior Center on Saturday, May 5.

The Children’s Center is a nonprofit preschool that was opened in 1972 by a group of neighborhood parents.

Head Teacher Molly Read said the school is operated as a parent cooperative preschool.
