PINE PLAINS — The seventh annual Philip Amelio Memorial Tournament was held at Stissing Mountain High School on Saturday, April 20.

The tournament is held every year in honor of Phil Amelio II, who died in 2005 and was the son of former Stissing Mountain varsity baseball coach Phil Amelio.

The Pine Plains Central School District invited teams from Roundout, Rhinebeck, Red Hook and Greenville to participate in a day of sportsmanship and friendship in Amelio’s honor.
