Shays (Betsi, that is) wows audience at Republican meeting

Betsi Shays came to the Republican Town Committee meeting April 10 and spoke of her husband, Chris, and his campaign for a U.S. Senate seat.

CORNWALL — The revitalized Republican Town Committee (RTC) is promising to keep the public informed on the candidates and the issues.

At their April 10 meeting however, the guest political speaker started out by saying she was absolutely not going to talk issues. The RTC had hoped to get U.S. Senate-hopeful Chris Shays. He was due elsewhere, but his wife agreed to come instead.
