Set in stone

AMENIA — This past winter the Garden Club, Enhancement Committee, Holiday of Lights and both the old and new Town Board members worked on Light Up Amenia!, and discovered that a pair of trees were planted in front of the new Town Hall many years ago in memory of Krista Proper, 8, and her sister, Melissa Proper, 6, who died in a tragic automobile accident on Bog Hollow Road in 1990. That news affected everyone who was involved with the project.
