Blumenthal visits town businesses

WINSTED — Sen. Richard Blumenthal stopped by businesses and met with town leaders during his visit on Thursday, April 5.

The senator toured the downtown Winsted area with Town Manager Dale Martin and several members of Friends of Main Street.

Blumenthal stopped at businesses including BNB Manufacturing, the Gilson Cafe and Cinema, the Health Food Corner and the Winsted Super Saver grocery store.

“I’m really here on a listening tour,” Blumenthal said. “I’m here to listen to stories to take back to Washington with me.”
