Scientist speaks to Rotary Club

MILLBROOK — Rick Ostfeld, research scientist from the Cary Institute, spoke to the Millbrook Rotary Club at their lunch meeting on Wednesday, Oct. 19, about biodiversity loss, forest fragmentation and Lyme disease risk. Club members learned that biodiversity loss is a major risk factor in promoting emerging infectious diseases like Lyme.
