Pine Plains BOE affirms appointments


PINE PLAINS — The Pine Plains Board of Education (BOE) held its annual reorganization meeting on Wednesday, July 6.

During the meeting, Bruce Kimball was re-elected board president and Brian Croghan was re-elected vice president.

“I’m looking forward to another year,” said Kimball. This will be his ninth year on the board and his second as board president. Kimball also taught for 33 years, 32 of which were spent teaching in Pine Plains.

Kimball said that this will likely be his last year on the board. “I want to see certain things through to fruition before I step down.”
