Millbrook sets water and sewer rates for 2011-12


MILLBROOK — At the Village Board meeting on Tuesday, June 28, trustees opened the public hearing for the proposed local law regarding water and sewer rates.

The water and sewer rates have historically been set to a fixed amount, according to the village code. Millbrook Mayor Laura Hurley said the water and sewer rates have not been amended for seven years. Hurley said with the new Capital Plan in the works, it would be a waste of time and money for the village to pass local laws every time the Village Board wants to update the rate structure.
