Millbrook schools’ report card gets an A

MILLBROOK — The state of New York has just released 2009-10 report cards for every public school district in the state, and the Millbrook School District received high grades in science, high school math and English proficiency.

In science, 95 percent of Millbrook eighth-graders met or exceeded state standards — the highest in the county — with more than half performing in the highest percentile. This compares to only 71 percent of all New York state students scoring at or above the required competency level.
