Intermediate program criticized by Webutuck BOE

WEBUTUCK — The North East (Webutuck) Central School District Board of Education (BOE) met on Monday, Feb. 13, to approve tenure for two teachers and discuss the future of the current fourth-, fifth- and sixth-grade programs.

The board acknowledged and welcomed speech and language teacher Christine Henderson and secondary biology teacher Michelle Nowak.

“It’s not really a welcome since they’ve been with us already, but [more of a] congratulations and we’re happy to have them joining us for what we hope is a long time,” said board member Judy Moran.
