Farm movement bearing fruit at last

FALLS VILLAGE — An overflow crowd packed the D.M. Hunt Library Saturday night, March 12, for Katherine Leiner, author of “Growing Roots,” a new book about the new wave of small-scale, sustainable farms in the U.S.

After brief introductory remarks, Leiner switched from the lecture format to interviewing Dan and Tracy Hayhurst of Chubby Bunny Farm, a community-supported agriculture (CSA) farm in Falls Village.
