MILLBROOK — Every year, the fifth-grade art class at Dutchess Day School (DDS) does a study of Hudson River School painters. During the fall of 2010, the students chose an artist to research, created a small canvas as well as a larger copy of the painting from an original, and wrote a report on the artist’s life.
