NORTH CANAAN — The 100th anniversary celebration of the Canaan Fire Company (CFC) will offer a chance to look back over the decades at the volunteer company’s history, at commemorative events and in a future issue of The Lakeville Journal.

Mark your calendars now for two important events. An Open House and Muster will be hosted by CFC members on May 14 and 15. A judged fireman’s parade will be held July 16 (during the annual Railroad Days celebration).
