Aquarion releases 2010 water reports


Aquarion Water Company last month mailed each of its customers the 2010 edition of its annual water quality report.

Aquarion provides water to residences and businesses in the Northwest Corner towns of Cornwall, Salisbury, Kent and North Canaan.

The water in each of these towns (and all others in the state served by Aquarion) was tested for more than 100 compounds that could be harmful to human health.

Fewer than 20 were found in the water in the Northwest Corner towns and those that were present were within acceptable limits.
