KENT — The Villager restaurant on Main Street has been a popular eatery for decades, under the management of a number of different owners. In November 2008, the restaurant came under the ownership of Antonio “Tony” Hernandez and his wife, G.J. Hernandez.

The couple’s eldest son, Alex, recently graduated from Housatonic Valley Regional High School and will attend Wagner College in Staten Island, N.Y., in the fall. Two younger Hernandez children attend Kent Center School.
