Felony DWI arrest
The Dutchess County Sheriff’s Office reports the arrest of Megan L. Poirot, age 43 of Rensselaer, for felony driving while intoxicated (DWI) in connection with a crash that occurred at approximately 2:30 a.m. on Tuesday, Feb. 13.

Police Report: Winchester Police Dept.

The following information was provided by the Winchester Police Department. All suspects are considered innocent until proven guilty in a court of law. 
Criminal trespassing 
On Feb. 6 David Jessop, 37, of Winsted was arrested following an investigation into a reported disturbance. He was charged with criminal trespassing in the first degree and breach of peace in the second degree. He was scheduled to appear in Torrington Superior Court on Feb. 19.

Police Report: Winchester Police Dept.

The following information was provided by the Winchester Police Department. All suspects are considered innocent until proven guilty in a court of law. 
DUI
On Feb. 2, Aralinde Herzig, 26, of Winchester was arrested and charged with driving under the influence and failure to drive in the proper lane. She was released on a $500 non-surety bond and was scheduled to appear at Torrington Superior Court on Feb. 13.

DEC Report

On Saturday, Jan. 6, while on patrol in Dutchess County, Environmental Conservation Officer (EOC) Robert Hodor observed a pickup truck parked in the Lafayetteville Multiple Use Area parking lot.

On Jan. 14 Alan Ransom, 29, of Barkhamsted was arrested for operating a vehicle under the influence of drugs or alcohol and making a restricted left turn or u-turn. He was scheduled to appear in Torrington Superior Court on Jan. 24.

On Jan. 18 Daniel Mazzacane, 27, of Torrington was arrested on a warrant stemming from a motor vehicle crash. Mazzacane was charged with operating a motor vehicle with a suspended license, failing to drive in the proper lane, and driving under the influence. He is scheduled to appear in Torrington Superior Court Jan. 31.
