Police Report: Winchester Police Dept.

The following information was provided by the Winchester Police Department. All suspects are considered innocent until proven guilty in a court of law. 
 
Traffic stop
On Oct. 4, Nicolas Patterson, 22, of Winsted was arrested and charged with failure to stop at a stop sign and operating a motor vehicle with a license that is under suspension. He was released on a promise to appear and given a court date of Oct. 16.

Police Report: Troop B

The following information was provided by the Connecticut State Police at Troop B. All suspects are considered innocent until proven guilty in a court of law. 
 
Domestic violence
On Sept. 10 at about 2:30 p.m., Martin F. Lemasurier, 40, of North Canaan, after allegedly being involved in a physical altercation with his wife, was arrested and charged with disorderly conduct — engaging in fighting. He was released on a $1,000 non-surety bond and given a court date of Sept. 11.

She was arrested and charged with following too closely and operating a motor vehicle under the influence of alcohol and/or drugs. Subway crime
Troop B is investigating a larceny complaint from Barkhamsted. An employee of the Subway restaurant there is accused of skimming money from the till during cash transactions. The case is still under investigation.

Police Report: Troop B

Criminal mischief
On Sept. 12 at about 2:30 p.m., Troop B responded to a report of criminal mischief to a motor vehicle at a property on Church Street in North Canaan.
The case is still under investigation. Anyone with information about the incident is asked to call Troop B at 860-626-1820.

Sheriff’s Report

Drug arrest
During a Labor Day weekend crackdown from Aug. 18 through Sept. 4, Madeline Miller, 20, of Amenia was charged with criminal possession of a controlled substance, a misdemeanor, and unlawful possession of marijuana, a violation, in the town of Washington.
