Police Report: Winchester Police Dept.

The following information was provided by the Winchester Police Department. All suspects are considered innocent until proven guilty in a court of law. 
 
Driving infractions and DUI
After a traffic stop on Aug. 30, Paul Bellott, 31, of Winsted was arrested and charged with reckless driving, unsafe tires, unregistered motor vehicle, failure to use headlights and operating a motor vehicle under the influence of alcohol and/or drugs. He was released on a $500 non-surety bond and given a court date of Sept. 5.

Police Report: Troop B

Ran a stop sign
On Aug. 24 at approximately 10:45 a.m., George R. Sinnamon, 50, of Bristol was driving his 2009 Nissan Altima westbound on Route 126 in Falls Village. At the same time, Mark Bellucco, 61, of Bethel was driving a 2007 Isuzu NPR registered to Berkshire Food Distributors Inc. of Danbury southbound on Route 7.

Police Report: Winchester Police Dept.

Disorderly conduct
On Aug. 6, Kelsey McManus, 28, of Winsted was arrested and charged with disorderly conduct. She was released on a $500 non-surety bond and given a court date of Aug. 17.

Burglary
Troop B is investigating a burglary that occurred sometime between the afternoon of Aug. 9 and the morning of Aug. 22 at a residence on Wells Hill Road in Salisbury. 
Items taken include two side tables, several lamps, bed sheets and paintings and other wall art.

On Aug. 3 at approximately 11:45 a.m., Hope S. Swanson, 89, of Ashley Falls was turning her 2017 GMC Terrain around in a privately owned parking lot on North Elm Street, near the intersection with Route 44, in North Canaan when she lost control of the vehicle.
