In appreciation: Robert ‘Bullet’ Sherwood

Bob Sherwood was doing random acts of kindness before I ever heard of the phrase.

Back in 1970 I mentioned to Bob that I was thinking of going to Canada and then hitchhike to the West Coast. Immediately he told me to hop into his little red car and drove me to Montreal with Dave MacArthur, dropped me off and drove back to Connecticut.

It was an incredibly generous thing to do and I have never forgotten it.
