KENT — Frank Food Company opened on Main Street on May 1 and has already become destination dining for residents and visitors alike. 

“We already have regular customers,” said owner Frank Way.

After a robust career in the corporate world as a creative director and consultant, Way found himself losing interest in those ventures and ready for something new.

Jumping for joy — and healthy hearts


KENT — The gymnasium at Kent Center School was filled with jumping and laughing children on the afternoon of Friday, Feb. 4. Students in grades two through six were there participating in the Jump Rope for Heart program sponsored by the American Heart Association.
The program, which coordinates events at any school that is interested, is aimed at both raising money and spreading awareness about heart disease. The 150 children who participated at the Kent Center School event had the option of raising funds or simply participating for fun.
